I am delighted to welcome you to Rock Ferry Primary School’s Website and Virtual Learning Environment. My name is Sara Radley, and I am proud to be Headteacher of this happy and successful school.
At Rock Ferry, we are committed to being an inclusive primary school with a determination to provide an excellent education for all our children. We strive to create a happy, safe learning environment in which all children flourish, both personally and academically.
As a Growing Learners School we aim to develop confident, resilient citizens who enjoy the buzz that challenging learning can give them and are keen to contribute positively to society.
There is an African proverb that states “It takes a whole village to educate a child”. I firmly believe that the success of a school is dependent on every member of the school community working together towards our shared aim. I am lucky enough to be the Head of an organisation where staff, parents and carers and governors are all dedicated to giving the children in our care the best possible start in life and to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Tesco Bags of Help Funding - Successful Bid
Thank you to everyone who supported us in the last round of voting with Tesco. Once again we'd put together a great bid which got our project shortlisted to the final 3; voting was then opened up to the public.
We were extremely lucky and secured just over £3,000 of funding which has been used to purchase equipment to enhance our playgrounds and the lunchtime experience for the children. There's still a lot of work to do, but I'm sure you'll agree that the playground improvements really are beginning to make a difference to the environment.
