Welcome to Rock Ferry Primary School

I am delighted to welcome you to Rock Ferry Primary School’s Website and Virtual Learning Environment. My name is Sara Radley, and I am proud to be Headteacher of this happy and successful school.

At Rock Ferry, we are committed to being an inclusive primary school with a determination to provide an excellent education for all our children. We strive to create a happy, safe learning environment in which all children flourish, both personally and academically.

As a Growing Learners School we aim to develop confident, resilient citizens who enjoy the buzz that challenging learning can give them and are keen to contribute positively to society.

There is an African proverb that states “It takes a whole village to educate a child”. I firmly believe that the success of a school is dependent on every member of the school community working together towards our shared aim.  I am lucky enough to be the Head of an organisation where staff, parents and carers and governors are all dedicated to giving the children in our care the best possible start in life and to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Child Friendly Parking Signage - Skipton Funding Bid

Earlier this year Rock Ferry Primary School submitted a bid to Skipton Building Society to get funding for Road Safety Signage.

The good news is we’ve been shortlisted to the next round.

To be in with a chance of securing funding we now need to get as many votes as possible.

Voting is very easy, go on the link below, read our story, then register a vote for us at the bottom of the page by simply inputting your email address.

We’d really appreciate you sharing this with as many family and friends as possible and asking them to vote for us as well.

Remember every vote counts and the more votes we get the more chance we have of securing funding.
